  • Direct the overall planning and strategy for the group’s live events across the globe (Poker, Casino, Sports betting)
  • Define the goals, objectives, KPIs, messaging for events and event advertising
  • Venue and hotel sourcing, security and risk assessment, budgeting, forecasting, supply chain and warehousing
  • Perform extensive market research to identify and capitalise on market growth opportunities and promote events through managing a broad range of marketing activities, including Social Media advertising, Trade media, Digital campaigns, post event surveys and reports, and branding strategies and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, suppliers, subcontractors, journalists, photographers, videographers, bloggers, Casino and Hotel partners, ambassadors and celebrities attending events
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements while finalising all contracts and due diligence and have full responsibility for ensuring events stay within budget
  • Design and execute a Live Event Covid-19 Security protocol with a country-by-country approach following guidelines from National Governments and local authorities. The PokerStars Security strategy is based on four pillars: Testing, Cleaning & Hygiene, Protect & Detect, Communications

I am an experienced Live Events leader with more than 12 years’ experience. Currently working as Senior Events Marketing Manager leading a team of five Event Managers, three Event Coordinators, a Security Manager and Live Events Logistics Manager, who all report into me. I direct the overall planning and strategy for the group’s live events across the globe.

My role reports to the Commercial Director. I have earned recognition and praise for organising more than 100 high-profile international events, including the largest and most prestigious gaming events in the world such as the European Poker Tour (a total of more than 2 million registered players and 1 billion combined prize pool awarded across the last decade).
