Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of a diverse events programme (circa 15 events with 5,000 delegates annually) including patrons’ fundraising dinners, multi-day residential conferences and a weekend festival. Produced a new event strategy, realigning it to the organisation’s vision; this involved a full evaluation and refinement of our portfolio, which resulted in designing new events.
  • Management of a £300k budget with direct line management of two full-time staff and regular contracted teams of up 50.
  • Producing and presenting reports to the Board and directly reporting to COO and CEO weekly, to ensure objectives are met.

  • Leading Co-Mission’s annual weekend ‘REVIVE’ festival for 2,000 people and 160 volunteers with a £200k budget; incorporating a multi-stage programmes, youth and children’s timetable, production, entertainment and sports. This includes developing a new sponsorship strategy and running subsequent campaigns, securing and managing all suppliers and stakeholders and managing multiple risk assessments to produce the H&S Major Incident Emergency Plan with local authorities and security.

I am a purpose-led and driven Head of Events with 11 years of experience working in London and New York leading and motivating teams to deliver stand-out events for corporates, charities and agencies, including Thomson Reuters, Breast Cancer Care, Grant Thornton, BlackBerry and Superdrug, for up to 2,500 people.

Expert at analytical thinking and complex problem solving; I develop effective event strategies and deliver creative solutions to drive up engagement and create long-lasting legacies. I have a proven ability to galvanise teams around a shared goal to achieve operational excellence.

I am looking to utilise my expertise to lead a high-performing team that want to realise the potential of their events to make a positive impact.
